Robin Hinsch, Lonely Are All The Bridges
05.06.2026 – 15.07.2026
Exhibition & Book Launch: Lonely Are All the Bridges is a long-term photographic portrait of Ukraine. Over more than a decade, Robin Hinsch repeatedly returned to the country after first visiting in 2010. The resulting body of work reflects on a nation suspended between a dramatic past, a brutal present, and an uncertain future. Rather than offering a conventional narrative of war, the work explores the complexities, contradictions, and fragile realities of everyday life. The photographs reveal social and territorial transformations while resisting simple explanations.
Robin Hinsch is a Berlin-based artist and photographer whose work focuses on socio-economic and political issues through photography, film, and installation. Since 2024, he has been Professor of Artistic Photography at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Darmstadt.
Lonely Are All the Bridges published by Gost Books, London, Winter 2025.
